"Empowering Women through Comprehensive Services: Education, Health, Advocacy, and More - Join Us in Building a Stronger Community, One Initiative at a Time, with the Influential Women’s Network."
Basic Education Initiatives:
With the establishment of over 40 community-based education centers, operated by our committed volunteers, we aim to empower and educate girls and women who have been deprived of educational opportunities due to prolonged conflict.
Advocacy and Protests for Peace and Women's Rights::
Despite the risks in volatile provinces like Nangarhar, our brave volunteers at IWN have organized numerous protests advocating for peace and women's rights. Our courageous women have raised their voices for peace talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban, demanding a permanent ceasefire and better representation for women.
Small Enterprise Development::
Dedicated IWN volunteers specialize in empowering Afghan women through small enterprise development programs. These initiatives have provided training and support to more than 160 Afghan women, fostering economic independence and contributing to local economies.
Empowerment through Skill Development:
IWN believes in enhancing opportunities for Afghan women by providing specialized training programs. These include basic journalism, computer literacy, and broadcasting skills. More than 130 educated girls have benefited from these skill-building programs, empowering them to explore new career paths and contribute actively to society.
Advocacy and Protests for Peace and Women's Rights:
In the pursuit of peace and women's rights, IWN stands as a staunch advocate. Despite the risks in highly volatile provinces like Nangarhar, our brave volunteers have organized multiple protests advocating for peace and women's rights. These courageous women have voiced their demands for peace talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban, advocating for a permanent ceasefire. Our protesters in Jalalabad have fearlessly marched, holding banners and chanting slogans in support of peace initiatives.
Small Enterprise Development:
Our network volunteers specialize in empowering Afghan women through small enterprise development programs. Since its establishment, IWN has trained and supported over 160 Afghan women in developing small-sized initiatives. These programs aim to foster economic independence and self-sustainability among women, thereby contributing to their empowerment and the local economy.
